We have accomplished so much and I am so proud of all of you! While I still want to continue this work, I’d like to put a stronger emphasis on intersectional environmentalism and I am now turning my Sunday feed over to black voices and conversations surrounding education on racial advocacy from youth leaders and environmentalists. Part of my journey and reflection in understanding racial injustice is understanding that we actually cannot talk about things like carbon pricing without intersectional environmentalism. Every week we have had a different guest, and today @indyofficinalis will be taking over to talk about ethnobotany and urban farming. Indy has been such a huge inspiration to me personally, and I am so excited to collaborate further with her in the coming months (once quarantine is lifted!) as we plan a video shoot together for all of you to see more of her amazing work in this space.
