These days, 12C Job #1 is rarely seen out on the roads. But that doesn’t mean it hasn’t seen plenty of adventures. In fact, the car has 40,435 miles on the clock.

The early days of 12C Job #1 saw it constructed in MTC, in what would eventually become a research and development part of the building, when MPC, our production centre, was officially opened. This shot, shows the engine fit of the car, the very first time the engine was placed into the chassis.
