They will be up for 7 days. the shoes will be delivered November 1st. 100% of the profits of the shoe will be funneled to support grassroots organizations that provide underserved communities access to climbing: @adaptclimbgroup , @youngwomenwhocrush @browngirlsclimbing1 @ownyour.media .
@farmtactics and I are also working directly with @long_beach_rising on a program to serve the local community with access to the gym, youth programs, climbing equipment , outdoor trips and other initiatives for underprivileged communities.
Diversity within climbing is constantly changing as result of the sport’s growing popularity but there’s still a major accessibility barrier. Climbing has historically been a white, male dominated sport and has been reserved for the privileged of society. we as climbers need to step up and be at the forefront of inclusion of culturally neglected communities. Our goal is to make climbing as inclusive and accessible as possible to create lasting change in the culture as various groups are able to come together and get to know each other through the avenue of climbing.
