We all have implicit biases. At our first Embrace Ambition Summit two years ago, Dr. Valerie Purdie Greenaway talked about the importance of understanding our own implicit biases and how they impact the way we interact with others. Dr. Greenaway’s talk inspired us to create a tool on our website about identifying and dealing with implicit bias. We have offered Implicit Bias training at our company to many of our teams in the past, but we are now committed to making Inclusive Leadership a mandatory course. We encourage you to take the Implicit Bias test referenced in Dr. Greenaway’s talk and learn about different ways we can all address this problem for the future.
