Today is World Oceans Day! 🌊🌎Our oceans are our future and they belong to all of us. Over 70% of the planet is covered in water and our five oceans contain the greatest diversity of life found on Earth. We are continually inspired by the Ocean, and with the launch of The Coastal Collection earlier this year, we pledged to donate a total of 10% of 2020 profits from items in that collection to organizations fighting to protect and restore our oceans. We hope to draw awareness to the unique beauty of the sea and celebrate the diversity of life found in our world’s oceans.
It's critical when highlighting our current climate crisis to continue to prioritize racial justice. Climate change takes a disproportionate toll on the most underserved and underrepresented communities. Black, indigenous and people of color are bearing the brunt of the impacts of climate change.
