To be completely honest, it feels weird and a bit confusing to return back to using our platforms for our “normal content.” As I begin to do so, please know that it does not mean the reflecting, listening, educating, donating, and action ends. It does not mean we forget what we have done for the past two weeks and resume business as usual. • • • My commitment to you, my community, is that I will continue to use my platform for good, for action, and for change. I will continue to share my outfits, workouts, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle posts, but I will never again stay silent for fear of saying the wrong thing. I made a promise to myself at the end of my Olympic career that I would dedicate my life to inspiring and uplifting the next generation—and that includes providing proportionate representation, resources, and support to the BIPOC community. I look forward to continuing that mission, and I look forward to being a part of this revolution.
