Instead of the black square with BLM hashtag which clogs the hashtag feed and buries useful relevant information, I’d like to post this video showing that the looters are not all black. Please educate yourself. Most of the looters aren’t protestors at all they’re people coming with out of town plates on their cars with the license # blacked out with a pre set plan of looting certain vulnerable stores. I know this is a time for our black brothers and sisters to grieve and heal and not necessarily be there to educate us on things we should have known long ago. That i completely understand & respect. I am however, extremely grateful to those friends who have listened to my questions and helped to guide and educate me on something i could never really grasp being a white person with privilege. I want to learn how to be the best ally i can be. A lot of my friends feel scared to ask questions thinking they will be deemed insensitive and ignorant. Please continue to ask meaningful questions to do what we can to move this country and the world into a place where everyone is considered equal.
