Carefully chosen to fit the narrow bathroom we have, and recently painted to cover the hot pink color it previously was. It was a bargain, and we drove a ways to pick it up. We scrubbed the brass hardware and brushed spiders off of the claw feet, and set it up in the backyard to create this shoot. Someday, it will be brought into the house, and installed alongside the 1920s sink Eric sourced from a house being torn down. Every change we make to our home has been a slow one, mainly because we are doing a lot of the work ourselves (particularly Eric). So before we can tackle the bathroom, we will learn how to tear out the tile and remove the shower that is already in there. It’s slow-going, but it’s made me appreciate all of the little details that we have started to make a reality in our home. And for now, it was fun to dream up this shoot, to strip our bedding and our curtains and to string them together into a tent and to run water into the tub for some fanciful idea that I had pop into my head.
