Thousands of Maneki-neko (beckoning cat) figurines taking on the glow of the evening sun in Tokyo’s most peculiar temple.

The Maneki Neko of Gyotoku-ji is formally called the "Blessed Cat" and is dedicated as a reward for fulfilling a wish.
More than 1,000 beckoning cats are enshrined here.

These photos were taken with an EOS-R and RF 24-70mm f2.8 lens borrowed from @eos_canonjp .
I'm still not a big fan of mirrorless cameras, but the lens is very sharp and bokeh is beautiful.
