Re. talking about if shows still make sense in the current climate on @1granary yesterday .. We are doing shows not for the professionals anymore, but for a worldwide audience , so why not time them so people can actually buy the clothes when they see the shows ? Not ‘See now buy now’ which would just mean producing clothes that haven’t been sold yet , but just show them when the collections are actually hitting the stores ? They would still be ready for buyers and press to prepare their shootings 6 months earlier , but it would put everything in sync - magazines are out with the new collections , the shows take place and the clothes are in the stores , all at the same time #rewiringfashion
