佐野元春 ／3rdアルバム ” SOMEDAY” ( 1982年 )。
当時高校1年生(15歳／岡山)だった僕は、佐野元春に東京を重ねていた。同年リリースされた 大瀧詠一 主宰による” NIAGARA  TRIANGLE  Vol.2 ” に招かれキラ星の如く僕の心のミュージシャン殿堂入りを果たした佐野元春はカッコ良かった！( 過去形って訳ではない！) 世界中の音楽から受けたあからさまな影響( ほぼコピーも！)そして佐野の素直なリスナーとしての昂り、その熱がいつも僕に伝わって来た。そう、岡山でくすぶっていた僕は佐野を通して世界中の音楽の旅を楽しんだのだ！このあとも変化／進化を恐れない佐野は、どんどん新しい音楽を提案してゆく！この2年後のアルバムVISITORSで早すぎたラップ ” COMPLICATION SHAKEDOWN ” をメジャーシーンで披露したのも佐野元春であった。

53歳になった僕がカラオケで歌い続けるのは勿論 これ！ 「 信じる心いつまでも SOMEDAY〜 」そう “SOMEDAY” 。

When I was a first-year high school student (15 years old living in Okayama), I saw Tokyo’s scenery through the music of Motoharu Sano. He was invited to the member of “NIAGARA TRIANGLE vol.2” led by Eiichi Otaki, released in the same year, he was inducted into my best musicians hall of fame like a glittering star. He was so cool! (and still is!) He showed the apparent influence of music from all over the world (almost photocopies!) being a sincere listener himself, his passion and the heat always hit my heart strongly. Yes, he allowed me to travel to the world’s music when I was smoldering in Okayama! Not being afraid of change or evolution, he continued to propose new music eagerly! It was also him who showed Japanese rap music at a very early stage in major scene two years later, with “COMPLICATION SHAKEDOWN” in the album VISITORS.
