GINZA SIXに散りばめられたパブリックアート。
12メートルのリビングウォールの銀座中央通り側の吹き抜けには、世界的に活躍する「チームラボ」のアート《Universe of Water Particles on the Living Wall》が展示されています。仮想の三次元空間に岩をつくり、無数の粒子の連続体で表現した水を落下させ、物理的な水の運動シミュレーションとして滝を構築した作品は、日没に合わせて色が変化します。代表の猪子寿之さん曰く「江戸時代の絵師である円山応拳は川を線の集合体で描いていますが、 当時の人には本当にそう見えていたんじゃないか。そんな昔の人が感じていた時の流れとデジタルという概念がつくっていく新しい流れ、両方に思いを馳せてもらえたらと思います」。（『GINZA SIX magazine 52 interviews for GINZA SIX』より抜粋 →https://ginza6.tokyo/news/8476）
アートによって、自分と世界との新たな認識を模索したい。そこには今の時代に向けてのメッセージが込められています。

Public art scattered around GINZA SIX.On the side of GINZA SIX facing Ginza’s main thoroughfare is a 12-meter-high wall space featuring teamLab’s artwork Universe of Water Particles on the Living Wall. The work depicts a rock created in virtual three-dimensional space, over which a continuum of innumerable water particles fall, simulating the physical motion of water creating a waterfall as the color changes in time with the sunset. teamLab founder Toshiyuki Inoko says, "The Edo Period painter Okyo Maruyama drew rivers as an aggregation of lines, and perhaps people in those days really saw rivers in that way. We hope that people will think of the flow of time as felt by those people in history, as well as this new flow created by the concept of ‘digital.’"
