They are bravely doing their best to take care of everyone, but they are also experiencing a critical shortage of PPE (personal protective equipment). Like many of you, Alex and I are self-isolating and practicing social distancing. These two things are very important, but beyond admiration and appreciation, we believe that healthcare workers need our help so that they can keep themselves, their families, and their patients safe. We’ve decided to launch a GoFundMe Charity page in partnership with GetUsPPE (@getusppe). This coalition was founded by a group of prominent Emergency Medical physicians and built by volunteers to combat the escalating crisis of diminishing PPE supply for healthcare workers. In a very short amount of time, GetUsPPE has unified a massive, multifaceted PPE donation base and have partnered with grassroots organizations across America.
