I’ve been keeping busy around the house because it’s what helps me right now. And during this I’ve spent a good amount time the past few days reflecting on how immensely lucky I am to be able to stay home. It is the smallest thing that I can do to hopefully take some weight off of an already overburdened healthcare system, and it’s hard not to think about the privilege I have in being able to do so. So many Americans will not be able to stay home - not to mention other countries for whom the majority of the population will be unable to stay indoors without suffering. I read a few sources that pointed out that really social distancing is a privilege in and of itself. It is. And that is a sobering thought. Which is not to say that it is easy - it can feel so scary and isolating. But if doing this will help, then I’m happy to be able to take part.」3月29日 6時39分
