I had no idea. The physical changes, the challenges you face with your other half, the extraordinarily selfless kind of love that you have for your tiny person, oh and the sleep deprivation. When they say having kids changes everything, they really aren't kidding. Although I often feel some people have a negative view on that statement, like your life changes in a BAD way. Which I will admit, there are some things I do miss about my pre-baby life, but looking at the BIGGER picture, I KNOW having Presley has changed my life for THE BETTER. No matter how tough it’s been or when somedays I wonder how I’m going to get it all done. I WOULDN’T CHANGE ANYTHING for anything in the world. I LOVE being a mom and I'm beyond grateful for what it has done in my life. The joy that Presley brings Jason and I is unmeasurable. Her happiness and giggles is the light of our universe. It's taken some getting used to but once you learn to adjust (which I'm still learning) you start to realize what a beautiful thing motherhood is.
