I will be sharing the stage with the incredibly talented Dr. Andrea Marshall ( @queenofmantas )as we debut our VR film collaboration shot in Komodo National Park. This film was a collaboration between @marinemegafauna Foundation, The @watermenproject and the talented guys at @vrgorilla We were fortunate to have captured some incredible sequences both on land and in the water, including the elusive manta ray mating ritual and all in 360! I feel confident in saying that the VR experience is the closest you will get to being with us on the expedition without getting wet. The VR Gorilla team weave a captivating story which not only highlights the Marine Megafauna Foundation's work in the region with the flora and fauna but also some of the pressing issues facing this natural world. The guys really did an amazing job both capturing the surface sequences and editing all of the under water footage into some great “edge-of-your-seat” sequences with the Komodo dragons… Andrea and I will be sharing what it was like to swim with Komodo dragons for the first time (this being a world first as well) and a pretty exciting experience which you can share in with us via the VR experience.
