(2/3) “I still have little notes I had written in third grade where I said I wanted to be an Olympic runner. Those rings have always meant so much to me, and the stories have always been so inspiring. I remember watching Olympic icons on TV and wanting to be just like them. To be able to work at it for so long and still be able to go after my dream is so cool. It shows my daughters that you don’t have to give up on your dreams, that you don’t have to take ‘no’ as an answer. All of these elite women that I run with are a testament to that, and I’m honored to be able to run alongside them."
