While only recently popularized over the past decade, hearty — some might say slightly crazed — folks have been surfing Ocean Beach, San Francisco since the 1940s. (And Pacifica since the ’30s.) And despite the fact that it’s always been cold and fickle and hard to score, there’s always been a quirky, tight-knit surf scene in the City, with stories worth telling. Director Mark Gunson does so beautifully in ‘Great Highway’ -- available exclusively for Surfline premium members to watch on the site from now until March 2nd.⁣
