As you may have seen from my stories, some of the people who follow me still don't seem to fully understand how important community is for me. My community are queer and trans people of colour, often abbreviated to QTPOC, and in the same way I might prioritise those marginalised communities in signposting workshops (see @ushamamii's post about Ableton workshops in BK), I would also ask people to be mindful about how they take up space at shows. I remember someone saying that the Electric Brixton show had felt too full, and when shows sell out, it can feel really squashed and busy. Look out for each other! Think about where you're standing if you're a lanky bastard like me. Think about my intentions in my music and the community I'm trying to support. To paraphrase the notes which my friends @papijuicebk post before their events, any racist, classist, sexist, anti-Black, fatphobic, homophobic and/or transphobic behaviour, as well as leering or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
