Since Rashad Robinson took charge of Color of Change, a racial justice organization, its membership has increased to 1.7 million from 650,000. The head of Color of Change lives alone in a 2-bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side, and on Sundays likes to go out for brunch and cocktails, but prefers to cook dinner for friends at home.
