We've been planning on going to some places we want to visit this year😉 The first place we visited was Toyama in Japan. Toyama Prefecture is well known for Kanazawa, but we went to Toyama that is even farther away from Tokyo. From there, we went by train to visit some of the mountainous areas and the coast. No matter what station we visited, they were in quiet towns with very few people. On the coast, we ate seafood rice bowls with tons of sashimi, and among the mountains, we traced Buddhist images at OOIWASAN NISSEKIJI and ate a vegetarian meal. We even stayed at a hot spring inn that had free flowing natural hot springs. We were able to experience the peaceful scenery and lifestyles around Japan that was enough to fully satisfy us as fellow Japanese. The Toyama Glass Art Museum was designed by the famous architect Kengo Kuma. The amazingly beautiful glass exhibits were so fascinating. I think you can tell from how I look just how much I loved this trip.
