I want you to know what goes on everyday in our world. But I also want to warn you about how awful it is. I got the call last night and I think everything I was told was a lie. I was told there was a healthy bulldog about 3 that needed to be rehomed. The owner was having a baby and couldn’t keep her. She was never bred but the owner thinks maybe his moms German Shepard got her pregnant. 😳. I knew that was dangerous so I asked them to take her to my vet first thing this morning. I said I would pick her up after she was examined and given shots. My vet called frantic. She walked in emaciated. Anemic and in labor. They did an emergency c section and they said they never saw anything like it. She had 6 stillborn puppies that died several days ago. Her entire body was infected. She was dying. She was the worst thing he had ever seen. She was bred to death. He wasn’t sure she would make it. I rushed there to see her. Remember this is a dog if never met. The man didn’t even leave a name. My three year old named her princess peach. She has a long road ahead of her but she survived. The vet was surprised. She is in my bathroom in a heating pad. I’ll be feeding her every 2-3 hours. My heart is broken for her. The bill is insane. She will need more medical care as well. My Venmo is frozen because people have been creating fake accounts under wagmor.
