It's almost Lunar New Year! I was raised in a Buddhist family so, every Lunar New Year, my family and I would go to the temple in the evening during the New Year's Eve and pray until midnight.
During the prayers, the head monk of the temple would teach us that health would be the most important thing anyone can have. He would say, "what's the use of being rich and successful if you're not healthy?" Lol. And so typically, I would pray for the health of those I love & their happiness, and of course, my health and road to happiness.
Lastly, receiving or giving red envelopes is not all about money. The red envelopes are a gift of luck as well. So be thankful if you receive one.
