Inspired by the gardens of Auberzine, the monastery where Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel was abandoned as a young girl, #ChanelHauteCouture by Virginie Viard was a poetic tribute to a place of artistic & spiritual influence, and original source of many of the iconic codes of the house.
Imagine a child looking out on a changed world, seeking protection, and freedom. The stars and the shadows. The power of imagination in flight. The lightness. The purity and precision. Like a dream.
