When the pilot asked me if I wanted to sit next to him in the cockpit... I really thought it was a joke. I started laughing and said "no thank you! ✌️" I realized he was serious soon enough, as he assured me it would be an amazing experience. He was definitely right!! I sometimes forget how lucky, privileged and amazing my life truly is. I thank God and my parents everyday for the 32 years of life they have given me. A life of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, and for my many successes. I thank them for my ability to see the beauty in all people and in all things. How lucky I truly am.
