This award recognizes accomplishments in all aspects of U16 life. It is intended to provide assistance to USSA U16 athletes who exhibit the personal characteristics required for success, in hopes of defraying the cost associated with participation in the expensive sport of alpine ski racing. Since it’s inception 11 years ago, this award has recognized young alpine ski racers who excel both on and off the hill. Solid character, compassion for others, and community involvement, along with passion and commitment to their sport are the traits they’ve looked for in these young athletes. Ronnie Berlack and Bryce Astle embodied these traits. These skis that @atomicski donated and other awesome items are auctioned on eBay for this fund.
