Komodo dragon or vampire or… both? In creepy science news, the blood of these deadly creatures could be the key to fighting antibiotic resistance in humans.  Komodo dragons can feast on decaying carcasses, host pathogenic bacteria in their mouths, and fight each other while their gums are bleeding — yet they’re largely unharmed by bacterial infections. Scientists are studying what makes them able to stay healthy, and the findings could protect humans as we become more resistant to the drugs we need to survive.
