Flowers of Iwakagami (Schizocodon soldanelloides) were blooming on the ridgeline. The name "iwakagami" (mirrors on rocks) comes from the rocky area they grow and the way their leaves shine. The backdrop is Mt. Shiomidake, nicknamed "belly button of the Minami Alps." The summit has two peaks called Higashi-mine (East peak) and Nishi-mine (West peak).⠀
