National Treasure Nishina Shinmei Shrine

Nishina Shinmei Shrine was designated a national treasure for its Shinmei-zukuri style main hall.
Once every twenty years, the main hall is rebuilt and the diety enshrined there is moved to its new home in an event called “Shikinen Seisen Gusai.”
The event will be held this year in November, during which the head priest and paritioners will partake in this solemn tradition in the middle of the night.

20年に一度、社殿を新しく作り直し
ご神体を新しい社殿へと遷す神事
「式年正遷宮祭」が執り行われます✨
令和最初の遷宮は今年11月
深夜の闇の中で神官と氏子によって
厳粛に執り行われますよ🍃
