adamdiehard @waltzinthestreet costs more to take them down then they every produce their entire life time. They kill birds. If it’s subsidized by the tax payers then it’ll probably make their electricity rates go up, not down. If there’s ever a day with no wind, you have to pay to keep them turning because the turbines go bad if you don’t. They don’t have a way to store excess power. It costs millions to maintain them every year. Ineffective and not even close to being efficient.
