Fam. The notion of home, & being without one, is something that is preoccupying much of my thoughts lately. electricmansions1866 Good Luck Freema and good on you... Fate found me living in a tent in a warehouse in a shitty part of Brooklyn during 2006/7 and my abstract' American experience'. Not precisely homeless but close to the edge..trying not to loose my head.. The stresses to crawl out of that wreckage made my head swell till I looked like a deep crust pizza...your adventures on the TV at the time I somehow use to watch on my phone ..you guys helped keep the darkness at bay. .untill the light came through again..blessed be on that mad journey through life..We All move so close to a sulking black hole sometimes..Thank you for shining from where you are. x🍁🌞 Good Luck from Peckham Rye!

sparkerson1983 While I applaud your doing this and I have donated through @rachelbrosnahan I want to know is Mayor #deblasio doing this? Homeless has long been a problem under all NYC mayors but during his terms it has worsened. As a longtime family supporter of @covenant_house going back to them visting our Connecticut church in the 1980s (or before) this is wonderful but NYC politicians might benefit from a night outside their beds.

tonyfward Sleeping out on the street will not achieve anything to raise awareness. The problem with people is they feel there little bit of I will rough it for one night makes a difference. Want to change it? Chap MPs doors, newspapers and so on. The mindset of caring has to be installed

bad_app_les @freemaofficial always is better is you share a warm bed with a homeless for a night. Probably you gonna make a@person happy, feeling that she or him has a family a house for a day 😍

kmwakak8 @freemaofficial it truly is. As a child my family faced homelessness due to my father’s illness. My mum an I had shelter. My late siblings and father often did not. 🙏🏽
