It’s my birthday and in lieu of presents or a Facebook charity event, I would like to ask all of my family and friends to do a random act of kindness for someone and then to post here what they felt called to do. Help out a homeless person, donate money to a cause, feed someone’s meter, pick up trash that isn’t yours, give away what you no longer need, write an anonymous note of love or admiration, help a young person chase their dreams, let someone cut in front of you in a line, spend time listening to someone who people typically ignore (and do so without checking of your phone 😉). Whatever you choose...do it consciously and in the name of love. And don’t forget to tell me what you did. I can’t think of anything that would mean more to me. I feel so loved and there are so many people in this world who don’t. Let’s get out there and all take the time to make someone feel seen, heard, supported, understood and loved.
