エミリー・ハリントンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (エミリー・ハリントンInstagram)「‘La Esfinge’ 💫🦁Quebrada Paron, Cordillera Blanca, Peru 🇵🇪 // @myshellparker and I stood on top of this 2000 ft beauty at an elevation of 17,470ft along with @jonglassberg @nicolas_navarrete.ec and @robrtomorales after 11 hours of climbing the Original Route (5.10d R). It was Michelle’s first big wall experience, and she stepped up and delivered in an impressive way 🙌 The climbing was glorious but heady, with granite as smooth and slick as El Cap in some parts and unprotected 5.10 sections that demand your full attention and lung capacity. Michelle flashed an airy 10a R pitch without knowing the grade (I told her I didn’t know it 😉) - making it her hardest trad flash by a long shot. Then she sent the 10d crux pitch on TR, a beautiful splitter that ends with a roof traverse on glassy smearing feet. All in all she took 2 falls the entire day, lead 1/3 of the entire route, and we reached the summit by sunset. It was by far one of my best days in the mountains with one of my very best friends ✨💕 SO damn proud of you Mikey!!!
