i_like_megamanx_ EXPECTATION: New incredible pokemon game with incredible overworld and impressive battles because this new Pokemon game is no longer restricted to old 3ds hardware but now on new home console hardware. REALITY: Game freak ports over SOME of the exact 3ds models because game freak claims it's too much work to port over the rest of the Pokemon and makes lazy overworld that looks like a smooth N64 game. Game freak doesn't care because the fan base will eat up anything game freak throws at them.

spookygoblinqueen Expectation: a home console game with stunning graphics, a full Pokedex, the ability to bring old Pokemon forward, be it through the game itself or a 3rd party app. Reality: The game looks okay at best, Pokemon are cut for "higher quality animations", T posing birds, heavily divided fanbase. All for the sake of a cheap and easy product.
