I always stop at this corner and take a bunch of pics and realize (sigh) that I don’t take the time to read more books 🙈 I used to enjoy being lost in a book...but then life kinda got busy and now I’m lucky if I have time to read articles in a magazine. I’m guilty of reading news of the day via my phone...miss reading the local newspaper 📰 too. I can’t forget the time I was so caught up in a book that I read it for 24 hours straight! Couldn’t put it down...forget sleep...just kept going to reach the finish line! Loved every minute of it! I realize now since I’m illustrating every day...I really can’t focus on reading. With looking at details of a pic, sketching it out, looking at details again to make sure I’m translating it correctly on paper..my eyes gets burned out.
