When my niece was only 4 years old, I eavesdropped on her bedtime prayers. It was probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen - she got down on one knee to pray for all of the things she was grateful for. She rattled off her appreciation for her mom, dad, family and much much more. But, what made me choke up is when she paused to think about what else she was grateful for: in the sweetest and cutest voice, she said “God, thank you for colors!” 🧡💙💚💛❤️💜❣️

justjacquelyn_ @jvn those are my favorite programs!! ❤️ @michellewkwan is my hero and I skated competitively for a loooong time as a kid and teenager. I quit when I developed an eating disorder. BUT, now many years into recovery, my spouse got my skates sharpened as a surprise gift and after I watched the @queereye episode with you and Michelle, I laced up and got back on the ice and have been coming home to myself. ❤️❤️ Thank you both for all of the amazing work you do and light you shine. jessygriz I love to hear this because I thank god for colors regularly and always feel so strange but it comes from my whole heart - I had menegitis as a baby and they said I was supposed to be blind or deaf- sometimes when I see bright colors it makes me weep when I remember it might not have been that way - #grateful your niece #getsit
