🖼 Dans ce tableau intitulé “L'Homme au gant”, Titien (1488/1490 - 1576) dépeint le visage et les mains d’un jeune homme à l'élégance discrète, qui laissent deviner une sensibilité complexe, à la fois énergique et mélancolique.

👀 La silhouette de l'homme au gant émerge de l'ombre. S'appuyant sur un bloc de marbre, il est vêtu d'un pourpoint noir et d'une chemise blanche plissée, dont le col froncé est serré par un cordon. La veste entrouverte laisse apparaître une chaîne en or avec un médaillon orné d'un saphir et d'une perle. Dans sa main gauche gantée, il tient l'autre gant tandis que l'index pointé de sa main nue révèle une bague armoriée.

🔎 Le modèle pose dans une attitude naturelle presque nonchalante. L'identité de ce jeune homme n'a jamais été réellement établie. L'élégance de ses vêtements laissent supposer qu'il s'agit d'un aristocrate, âgé de dix-huit ou vingt ans, soucieux d'être habillé à la mode vénitienne de son temps.

On the index finger of his right hand, he is wearing a ring bearing a coat of arms.

🔎 The model's pose is natural, even nonchalant. The young man's identity has not yet been proven beyond doubt. The elegance of his appearance suggest that he was an aristocrat aged about eighteen or twenty, who was an avid follower of fashion in the Venice of his day.

oxanaivanova13 Шикарно! Как же я люблю живопись старых художников! Мастерски выписанный портрет! По выражению лица видно настроение человека. Прописаны все детали: кружево - это кружево, а кожаные перчатки - это тоже сразу видно. Руки выписаны так натурально, сквозь неровности кожи просматриваются вены. Можно сразу определить и ткань рубахи, тонко выписаную мастером. Хорошо, что мы можем любоваться таким искусством.
