I hope you can listen to a Christian, most people are true hypocrites in that they will listen to everybody else, but not a Christian. Most people will tolerate everybody else, but not a Christian. And I don’t want to hear anything otherwise because there’s a lawsuit about this very issue going on right now in Toronto, Canada. Tolerance. You can’t tell me otherwise because I know otherwise. I’m following the guy’s lawsuit. There is no freedom of speech unless you say what everybody else is saying. That’s not freedom. Kanye wouldn’t approve. Sarah wouldn’t approve either. She was a Texan comyv. Was. Died a while ago seeking beauty and perfection. I have to agree to disagree with you on “refugees.” Why don’t the Middle Eastern countries take their own in? Answer that. Why is it our responsibility as Americans to take in a people that want their religion to be their government? That’s a conflict of interests right there. Americans DON’T want that. I am not seeking the praises of men. I know what I know, and I can’t be brainwashed otherwise. I’ve read torturous stories since the 2000’s. I’ve studied history. They haven’t changed. “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.” I’m not fooled. This is to destabilize our constitution. We are literally the last free country on earth with freedoms diminishing daily. I don’t love the praises of men more than the praises of God. Jesus told us to be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Not be as stupid and as harmless as doves. I have more short stories in that book. Probably hundreds of Muslim on Christian violence stories—one for every pro-refugee article because it’s REAL. And if they don’t want me to brandish them about, then maybe THEY should QUIT it. If people no longer believe in Islam, they should be allowed to leave. No, I don’t want to bring in a people that are so intolerant, that you cannot leave the religion or they kill you. No I don’t want to bring more of that kind of intolerance into this country.

I love the music you make, and I love going to your shows and I love the people who’ve become my family all over the world because of your music. People like Maura and Sarah and all the Japanese Comiyavi. I love that I’ve been accepted into this despite language differences, despite nationality differences, despite religious differences, despite everything that could separate us we are still a family. And that’s because of you. You inspire me daily to keep my eyes open and look at the situation and the people around me; not though my own learned prejudices and fears, but with compassion and understanding. It isn’t easy, it isn’t comfortable, and a lot of the time it doesn’t really make me feel good about myself, but it makes me a better person. To me, being Comiyavi is more than just being your fan. It’s more than just showing up at shows or buying albums or buying merch. It’s more than what I GET out of it. It’s what I can give. To you, to the rest of the Comiyavi, to the world. You inspire me to look past the differences and see the similarities. To see what unites us, not what divides us. I’m not always good at it, but maybe no one is. The point, I think, is that we never stop trying. Like Maura, I’d trade everything we have now for a better world, a world without lines or borders. A world where we no longer cling to the idea of “us versus them”. The current system is so broken, and the only way to fix it is to dig in and put your shoulder against it and push. To see you doing that with your music, with your words, with your life is so important. You have power we don’t have--but you also have us. Thousands of us supporting you, believing in you, following you. We’ll fight this with you, because we believe in you and because we want that better world. Even if we never see it ourselves, we will have left the world a better place than we found it in the end. And that is all anyone can do. I believe in human rights, and I don’t believe in borders. Our differences make us stronger. Im in this for life.

You know I love your music. You know I love going to your shows. You know I love the friends-turned-family that I've made all over the world with your music as a catalyst. But NOTHING makes me prouder to be your fan than your work with the UNHCR. I was grinning ear to ear in Santa Ana when you said that you think of yourself more as a UNHCR ambassador than a rockstar now. Music is powerful. Music can unite. You've done so much with it so far, but you didn't stop there - you're fighting for the people who need it the most in a really direct and tangible way, and I'm SO PROUD of your work. Please keep fighting as hard as you can. I don't care in the least if it means less music from you down the road. I don't care what changes come with it. I'd give up every MIYAVI show I've ever been to and every show I plan to go to if it will bring resolution to the sick, sorry way we keep drawing lines and borders and punishing other humans for crossing them. Breaking families. Breaking hearts. It HAS to stop, and to see you digging your heels in and fighting for that... just keep going MYV. We're fighting with you. I'll use my voice, my vote, anything I have to fight this fight with you. Maybe we can't fix everything, but when we're all dead and gone someday, we'll at least know that MIYAVI and his crazy crew of CoMiyavi left this world a better place than they found it. ❤️

No, I don’t want to bring in a people that beat and imprison, kill, and make false accusations and worse about my people who are a minority living in the countries they’re “fleeing.” No, I don’t want to bring them in. I’m not some teenybopper that thinks that celebrity opinions are like the opinions of the gods or something. I’m 31 years old. Celebrities are entertainers, and that’s what they should do. Entertain. I mean, just look at California, and if you don’t know what I mean, stop drinking the Kool-Aid. They actually enact environmental policies that are harmful to people. They’re so pro-nature they’re anti-life. That’s literally why the wildfires were as bad as they were. They’re not allowed to mow/clear the dry brush and weeds that collect everywhere. So many people were displaced, they are now homeless and tiny houses that would save them from homelessness were made illegal. California is not free. I DON’T want the rest of the USA to be like California. You have to get permits to do that kind of thing—just taking care of the land around you. You have to have a permit to do that in California. Don’t talk to me about how Californians have it better. Californians don’t even know what the USA stands for... California is the exact opposite of what I would like America to be.

❤️ Keep up the good work, it's a very honourable commitment to work for the UNHCR and spread the word. In all honesty, I was not surprised at all when you started to work with UNHCR, because your songs have always been mostly about love and how we're "all in it together" Refugees are just normal people who've been through shit, and like all people who've been through shit, they can use a helping hand to get back to a normal life. Keep it up Miyavi,👏 see you on the next concert!

Yes! Miyavi is one of the few people in this world we live in today who truly wants to spread positivity and love into our universe! Thanks @miyavi_ishihara for bringing the energy of acceptance, love and peace into this world 🤘🏻
