What I love most about Summer Marché is the chance for everyone to taste the most beautiful peak-season fruits, and for London’s pastry case, we were able to source some incredible finds from local farmers throughout Britain and also from across the world. Juicy blueberries from England’s lush Wye Valley, Metis Oxy plums (a plum apricot hybrid with crunchy skin and juicy red flesh) from Southern Spain, Rainier cherries grown in Kent, sun-ripened figs from the South of France, Jubilee strawberries with Cornish clotted cream, and more.
