@olivia_dunham_bishop " fixing our own mess"
Between 1964 and 1973, the U.S. dropped two million tons of bombs on Laos, nearly equal to the 2.1 million tons of bombs the U.S. dropped on Europe and Asia during all of World War II, making Laos the most heavily bombed country in history relative to the size of its population; The New York Times noted this was "nearly a ton for every person in Laos".[35] Some 80 million bombs failed to explode and remain scattered throughout the country, rendering vast swathes of land impossible to cultivate and killing or maiming 50 Laotians every year.

My son and I live on 200€ a month incl. bills, food, medicine etc ... but I do not complain. I am not able to work anymore (my English is so bad, sorry) for health reasons. On the contrary, I am thankful that here in Germany others who work hard pay special dues to help people like me and my son. That is the reason why I always share what I have though it is not much. This world would be so much better if all humans would share what they have.

@misha thank you for helping my fellow Hmong people, not laos but hmong. That will make life less worrisome knowing they'll be safe in some way. Good luck, there's been many efforts and attempts to slowly get rid of them for the longest time. But that is not the only issue my people living in the mountain of laos have. Please read up on our history with aiding the US in the Vietnam War and the genocide in Laos towards all those family in hiding.

@mellebelle313131 She’s not saying that they’re less important. She’s simply pointing out that we should start at home. You always see commercials with children starving in other countries. There are people starving HERE too. Yes we should do all we can. But @dragonmaiden65 is NOT saying Americans are more important. She’s saying let’s start with fixing our own mess first. 🤦♀️

@honeydukescollector Absolut!
