12 weeks ago I underwent an ACL reconstruction on my right knee (quadriceps graft). From today I am allowed to do various open-chain moves, with loading. The graft should have just passed the critical weak phase. Really looking forward to my first squats! The leg is weak but it is time to pump it up now!

This rehab process has been more psychologically tough than physically. So many limitations, desires and memories of how it was. With every week that passes, my motivation climbs up. The stabikity increases as well as my strength and confidence. It is hard to give any precise predictions, but hopefully, I will be able to boulder "completely normally" in three months. Cross your fingers.
I miss running. Biking is a fair replacement at this point, but still. A month or so until I can do that too. I guess.

mtn.crow This is so true. It’s just psychologically demanding as physically or even more if one’s an athlete. I’m almost one month post op, I’d say I was pretty prepared emotionally because I’ve gone thorough 6 mos of pre-op rehab so I knew what’s going to look like but it still is so, so tough on the mind. Well.. what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, I guess. Keep it up, Stasa! 💪🧗🏻‍♀️ & kudos to anyone going through ACL recovery, well make it 😊

I am 10 months post surgery and I am finally forgetting about my knee and that it is there! I wish you all the best the first part is the hardest
