One month post ACL reconstruction. The progress we have made is huge, but we still have to go step by step. I say we as there is more thean just me in this process. The surgeon dr. Marko Macura who did a very good job, physio @tomazzamrnik, coach @rintinbin, my parents taking lots of care around me and other consultants worldwide. Thank you goes also to you guys, for cheking on me and giving lots of support.
Besides focusing on the correct timing and type of exercise on the leg, there has been work on the rest of the body: other leg, core, upper body and arms. Recently I was able to start swimming, light stationary bike riding and fingerboarding, which is a big plus.
The next month won't be that full of progress as the graft still has to get used to it's new environment and new neighbours inside. Just more swimming, biking, hanging, pumping and compex stimulations.

Hey, what happened to you? Was your knee locked? I cannot straighten it to full (still around 20cm missing to the floor) plus I cannot bend it (max 90'). Docs in UK couldn't read my MRI so I'm waiting and waisting time. Was your knee slightly warmer than other? Did you have swellness other side of your knee? How was your meniscus? Thanks for any answers!

I really hope that you stay positive through this✌️Effing tough but after a while I’ve found new (mental) strength in this injury. I’m going to “have a taste” of your state in a moment - the surgery is around the corner ;) On plus side, for us climbers legs are important but still not as important as for soccer players ✌️Have an awesome day!

I dislocated my ankle 90 degrees yesterday. Worst fuck up so far, but the body will heal and we’ll come back stronger. From a positive perspective you can at least train your fingers. Who needs legs for climbing anyway 🤷🏽♂️

... and the unsung hero, the anaesthetist, who popped in a regional block catheter so you could remain pain-free after the operation for a period of time... 🤣😂🤷🏻♂️ Keep up the recovery! 💪🏻
