Shares of Beyond meat sank more than 11% in extended trading Monday.
The stock fell after the company announced a secondary share offering and reported mixed second-quarter earnings and revenue.
Shares briefly rose 2% after the company raised its full-year 2019 revenue outlook, but fell after it announced a secondary offering of 3.25 million additional shares.
The company, which just went public this year, is up 704% since its IPO.
Beyond Meat produces meat alternatives, which range from fake ground beef to burger patties. The products are designed to closely mimic the texture and taste of traditional meat.

Reasons why it sold off was bc some key insiders will be dumping shares ahead of the new issuance of shares. Discouraging for investors to both face the danger of dilution and insiders who don’t see more short-term upside
