This is also 9.5 months postpartum..
.
On the way to brunch I just about had a meltdown because nothing seemed to be going right and to top it off, the original outfit I had chosen had a malfunction and was out. When I put this romper on, I told Dev I didn’t want to look pregnant for my birthday or have people thinking about how fat I was. I’m struggling with a lot of loose belly skin after my c-section and it is driving me nuts.

Eventually I had to embrace it, we were running late and had people waiting on us. As the day went on however, and I came out of the other end of my mini anxiety attack, I realized, WHO CARES?? This body created a life and gifted me the most precious of baby boys. This body fought its hardest and literally brought me back from the brink of death. This body is battered and scarred and stretched to the max but it’s MINE and I am so very proud of it.

I really wish I could get in the right mind set to say f-it and love my body.. 10 months post baby and at my heaviest it’s really hard to have the confidence I had once not that long ago... I beat myself up daily over my weight but I’m trying on a low carb diet with intermittent fasting it’s a slow process but I’m hoping by my 33rd birthday I will feel the same as this beauty!! jmaggiephotog You’re gorgeous! I think we all feel like everyone is criticizing us, when in fact we are usually the only ones criticizing ourselves! Everyone else is too busy worrying about other people criticizing them! I am trying very hard to focus on what my body can do for me not how it looks! It’s definitely a process.🌹

msnikkiluv @stephkettnermancino there are days that it still gets to me, everyday is a struggle I promise but I try to keep in mind that my son doesn’t care what I look like he only cares that I show up as the best version of myself for him.

wundumho Very important to embrace ourselves for where we are today. 4 kids, 4 years of breastfeeding on demand, hundreds (thousands?) of hours of lost sleep and I'm still me.
