Her Royal Highness is the first Guest Editor for British Vogue’s September Issue and for the last seven months has worked to create an issue of inclusivity and inspiration, focusing on what connects us rather than what divides us.
Fifteen women were chosen for the cover including New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who generously lent her time to support The Duchess in this important issue. The women first met last autumn during Their Royal Highness’ official tour of New Zealand.
Above, PM Ardern says: “One change that I’ve noticed over the course of my career, is just how polarised the world is now. I do think there is a solution to that though, and that’s ultimately us coming back to the humanity that we all share." Thank you PM Ardern for being an amazing force for change.

Really,?? Hanoi Jane Fonda? How uninformed are you? It wasnt her youth or misinformation or trusting the wrong people that landed the treasouness traitor (who, please remember, betrayed our Vietnam vets in a time of war) it was an indulgence of narcissism that had human beings as the rewards of empty ego...just ask the guy who was beaten because Tattle-Tale slipped the note he had so hopefully placed in her care begging for help to the very captors as a POW he tried to escape. She took a photo-op on a weapon that was used against our troops, denting morale, she was a leader in the atrocious way they were treated at home, people thinking that she was "so cool". Problem is, all of these activities have a tendency to rather promote the personal brand Duchess of S, than serve for the cause or Charity. Like privileges for the Privileged. The chosen media is a little too glam and flawless to be taken seriously. And some personal ‚choices‘ seem to be somewhat questionable, fail to be authentic. Being luxuriously financed by public taxes definitely raises questions about how that money is being spent and the not so Fine line between credible activities and mere narcissism, like that mirror in the Cover. Looks like some ambitious solo effort, but may be a backlash to the brand.

I applaud this so much! Everyone has someone in ‘the spotlight’ that they admire and aspire to. Who they feel represents them, voices their concerns and highlights what’s wrong in their eyes. One event or publication cannot bring our expectation to feature to someone we admire, our chosen idol but we can come together and try and celebrate it’s point, continue the conversation and maybe they’ll be another time when our personal idols will represent us. Even if just a few hundred people embrace what this is about then it’s a wonderful thing.

Maybe @BritishVogue next guest editor should be a woman who is in the “STEM” industry. This will encourage young women to explore more about themselves and see the big impact that they can have on lives through their work as a scientist, researcher, mathematicians, physicists, physicians etc. This is where there is a void for women. I say this as I have an MS in Geophysics and was among few women who went into this degree in the 80’s. It’s a great start @BritishVogue 👏👏✨✨✨

Does no one in their staff research environmental pollution? Assuming they are too busy to do it themselves? Clothes and our consuming and discarding of them are one of the biggest polluters! How can you use vacuous, frivolous Vogue as any sort of vehicle for anything inspirational or inclusive???!!! The British class system and the concept of royalty by definition is not inclusive!!! Or else taxpayers would be paying for each other’s livelihoods!!!

Happy birthday thank you for being a trailblazer, i hope the negativity of being the first in modern times doesn't become so over powering ut puts out the the spark you have ignited.
