janequigley This is what I tell my niece and nephew. I’m the Chief Client Officer, but I still answer phones, make sure the coffee cups are put away and dust the tv in the conference room. Try and beat your boss and leadership in and be almost the last to leave. Work ethic will almost always win out if leadership has to make hard decisions about keeping employees.

tiffany_hayden I just started working at a non profit and I’m doing it all—answering phones, greeting clients, sweeping the floor, coordinating with our corporate clients. There are only 3 of us right now. If I didn’t step up to do all the tasks, they wouldn’t get done. We all work hard to make the business thrive.
