I actually don't know what this phenomenon is, but fellow photographers tell me it could be "airglow," a natural emission from the upper atmosphere near the edge of space, also potentially enhanced by sublimating ice crystals. At any rate, I'm looking forward to seeing the final processed version of this one on a big screen for the @natgeochannel documentary in progress. Ma vedo una montagna sfruttata, un'ambiente che dovrebbe essere rispettato e temuto invece è sfruttato da agenzie per scopi economici, turismo di massa, turisti "portati" in vetta.... Nostalgia dei tempi andati dove la stramaggioranza delle persone era impaurita dalla montagna, figuriamoci a salire oltre i 6,000mt...??
