Recovering well 😊

I honestly don’t remember much from my labour and C section — just staring at Baby Chalmers little face has made it all a painless memory.

I’m recovering well taking gentle baby steps every, single, day. I literally feel like I’ve had to learn to walk again from the C section. Honestly, nights are the hardest at the moment with getting in and out of bed, and Baby Chalmers seems to have his nights and days around the wrong way 😓 , but we’re working on that 😊. My milk has finally come in which I’m over the moon about. I’m learning so much as I go, and to be honest, being a mamma is just the most rewarding thing in the world. I can’t explain the love that I feel for him.

marijaaleksikj Taking shower every day 10 seconds hot and 10 seconds cold water for 5 min straight. This helped me a lot to recover faster. It helps with blood circulation and the body is feeling so much stronger.Today my son is 6 months old and I work out and run with no problem. You are amazing Bianca give yourself time, everything is new. Just smile and know that every day you are stronger. Congratulations ? ?

carolinetoni Congratulations! Not sure how you look so fantastic but good on you! I had two c sections too, and you just have to listen to your body. It will tell you when you’ve done too much. Try not to feel any pressure to anything a certain way. Whatever is best for you and your baby is what is right. Enjoy the snuggles while he can’t escape. They are soon running away from you haha! 😍

homagetothehome I had a 30 hour labour only to dialate 3cm ? so I ended up having a c section. I remember being in hospital with my husband and our gorgeous boy, totally in love with him, but I also was thinking after the trauma of the labour, ‘I’m happy with just one kid’ haha!! Now, almost 3 years on I’m pregnant with our 2nd ??‍♀️ Enjoy those newborn cuddles ?

It’s been a tough journey and has taken me a while to come out of it but my little boy is healthy, happy and turned 6 months over the weekend. 🙏🏻✨😘

hashiena I planned for a Natural birth as well but went into an emergency c sec yesterday. I have no clue on the recovery as well and I had to look through ur ig again this morning for tips and advice. Truly an inspiring to many! Hopefully I can take my first few steps as soon as u did too. Definitely not an easy period!

snowbop9 Congratulations! ??. Bring a mum is the most rewarding thing we women ever do. The love you feel is unconditional and it’s for eternity no matter how old they are! I found it also make you a better person and shifts your priorities. So rewarding! Enjoy every single magical moment , it’s like nothing else!!!❤️
