I wanted to let you all know that we are still here happier than ever 🥰, I’ve just chosen to be fully present with my little Oliver while he gets the support and early intervention therapy he needs for his speech and big emotions. He has qualified for speech pathology twice per week which I’m so grateful for. But there’s something I did want to say… Intuition is right — as a mum, we ALWAYS know. If you are feeling something, there's no harm in following what that may be. This year, 2 to 3 is the most important for him. Over the past month all I’ve been doing is researching ways to be a better mama for Oliver through this. Even though he might have a logical way of thinking compared to other toddlers, express his big emotions in different ways, pull apart his pretend sink to work out how the water recycles through, or line up all his toys, he’s nothing but incredible to me. He is part of me and my soul mate and I’ll do anything I can to help him so he can thrive in the world of today. Being on the spectrum may be a disorder to others, but to me he has special gift, a way of being that combines good and honesty into one. He is perfect to me 🥰」9月24日 4時45分
