I got my start climbing in the early 90’s on the the various crags around the Bay Area like Mikey’s Beach , the pinnacles and castle rock state park. Pretty wild to reflect on all the places have taken me in the years since. Thanks for the nice memories @jimthornburg

squintspeladorski1 This post brightened up my night so much last night. I remember seeing you at vertical hold @chris_sharma when you were just a bit older than me. When i got back into climbing in high school in San Diego. I was given the rampage DVD and gosh I'm so thankful. You were a huge part if getting me into the outdoors. Because my parents and friends at school were never into such things! Now at 33 I'm still doing my thing! Climbing everyday!

barryohm I moved to San Jose a few years ago for work, it’s amazing how the locals don’t take advantage of those crags. I often hear them say, there is no good climbs at castle? I just smile and think of people like Doug Robinson, Coz and of course mr Sharma that developed their skills here, cheers

perish_in_flames I actually just unearthed a pair of those green 5.10s from like 25 years ago. I’ve been climbing in them non stop. I love being able to tell the kids were climbing with that they’re not even as old as my shoes 😂

9c_chancellor Your interview in dosage 3 where you were stoned as fuck climbing that arete easily is the biggest motivation for me as a climber. Rrrrraaaassstttaaaa
